The length of an average Magic The Gathering game can really swing depending on what kind of decks are facing off and the format being played. Generally, you're looking at about 20 minutes for a casual game. Competitive matches, especially in formats like Commander, can last much longer, sometimes up to an hour or more if things get really intense!

20 minutes is a dream. Real talk: expect 45 minutes on average if you're at a local game store or in a tournament. Those matches get intense and nobody's rushing.

Honestly, it feels like forever if you're playing against a control deck. But yeah, 20-30 minutes sounds about right for most games.

Quick games? 15 minutes. Epic battles? Over an hour. Average? Let's say 30 minutes, but MTG time is like a box of chocolates.

Short and sweet: 20-30 minutes. But really depends on how quick you play and the game format.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
