Short answer? It varies. Most times, it's a couple of hours, but if it's a major patch, buckle up for a potential all-day wait. Riot Games is pretty consistent, though, and they keep players updated on Twitter or their service status page.

Based on my experience, Valorant maintenance typically takes a few hours, usually in the range of 4-6 hours. Riot tends to start maintenance in the early morning, aiming to have everything up and running smoothly by noon or early afternoon, depending on your time zone. Of course, this can vary, especially if they're rolling out a big update or patch, but they're pretty good at sticking to their timelines!

Usually just a few hours. Never had an issue where it took the whole day or anything. Riot's pretty quick with it.

Too long if you ask me. I swear, every time I finally sit down to play, boom, maintenance. I know updates are necessary, but the timing always gets me.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
