In Fallout Shelter, patience is a virtue, my friend! Once you've successfully paired a male and female dweller in the living quarters, and they've hit it off, you'll have a little dweller on the way. Now, for the part you're really asking about: It takes exactly 3 hours for the baby to be born. After that, you'll have to wait another 3 hours for the baby to grow up and start contributing to your vault. So, in total, think of it as a 6-hour investment from pregnancy to productive member of vault society.

Just 3 hours till birth and then another 3 till they're walking and talking mini-dwellers. Time flies when you're managing a vault!

Honestly, it doesn't take that long. Just 3 hours, but then again, you gotta wait another 3 for them to grow up. Basically, a 6-hour ordeal each time.

If you're a Fallout Shelter player looking for extra caps or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Fallout Shelter essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
