Rockstar Games officially announced GTA 6 in 2022, but rumors and speculation suggest it's been in the works for much longer. If we consider the time from initial planning phases, it's safe to bet development quietly started shortly after GTA V launched in 2013. So, we're talking almost a decade of brewing up the next big thing in the criminal underworld!

Based on what I've pieced together from various updates and leaks over the years, GTA 6 has been in the oven since at least 2014. It’s like they started plotting the next heist as soon as the last one was done. Classic Rockstar move!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
