How long have they been making GTA 6?
Rockstar Games announced GTA 6 development officially in 2022, but rumors and speculation suggest they may have started working on it much earlier, possibly shortly after GTA 5 launched in 2013. So, it's been in the works for quite some time, giving them plenty of years to perfect it!

GTA 6 has been in development forever, it feels like. They started right after GTA 5, so yeah, like a decade almost?
Honestly, GTA 6 development timelines are a bit of a mystery, but it's safe to say it's been a long haul. From early rumors to the official nod in 2022, they've been at it for a good chunk of time.
Just a couple of years officially, but probably way longer in secret. Game development is a marathon, not a sprint.
