24 hrs. Night and day in the game match up with your real-time. So if you're a night owl, get ready to see your island under the moonlight more often than not!

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a day lasts exactly 24 hours, just like in the real world! The game's clock syncs with your real-life time, so if it's 2 PM where you are, it's 2 PM in the game too. Makes catching those day-specific bugs and fish a bit easier to plan for!

Honestly, it feels like time flies faster in Animal Crossing: New Horizons than in real life, especially when you're deep into terraforming. But yeah, it's a 24-hour cycle, real-time.

They tried to trick us with a real-time clock. 24 hours in a day, but be careful, you'll blink and suddenly a whole week has passed because it's that addicting.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
