Honestly, it can take forever if you don't have strong bees and decent gear. Be prepared for a long grind.
I killed the Stump Snail in about 10-15 hours of gameplay. Just make sure to keep your bees busy and don't forget to use your stingers!
If you're new, expect a loooong battle. High-level bees and plenty of patience are your best friends here. Good luck!
