Just about a year, give or take. Once new sets come in, old ones get the boot to keep things spicy.

If you're really into the game, keep in mind the rotation happens yearly. Helps to not get too attached to any one deck, cause change is the only constant here.

Pokemon TCG formats typically last around a year. They tend to rotate annually, usually in September, making room for new sets and keeping the game fresh and balanced. Think of it as the game's way of evolving!

A year? More like forever if you're playing casually with friends. Official tournaments stick to the yearly cycle, but nobody's stopping you from using any card you like when just having fun.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
