Steam sales are like a ninja, they appear when you least expect them! But seriously, major sales often happen in late June for Summer and late November for Autumn. Winter and Spring sales dates vary, but if you're a betting person, end of December and somewhere in March are good guesses.

Ah, the perennial question of the patient gamer. While Valve (the folks behind Steam) keeps the exact dates close to their chest, you can usually expect big sales around the same times each year: Winter, Summer, Autumn, and Spring. Keep an eye out a few weeks before each season changes; that's your best bet!

Just wishlist your games, and Steam will ping you when they go on sale. It's like setting a trap for those elusive discounts.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
