One week, exactly! No time travel shenanigans though - if you try to cheat by skipping ahead or turning back time, those turnips will rot instantly. Treat them like milk; not good past their sell-by date.

They last exactly 7 days. Bought some, forgot, and saw my hard-earned bells turn into a bunch of rotten veggies. Not my proudest moment in Animal Crossing, lol.

7 days. Period. No exceptions, no mercy from the Animal Crossing gods.

Turnips in Animal Crossing will go bad after one week! So, if you buy them on a Sunday, make sure to sell 'em off before the next Sunday rolls around. It's like the game鈥檚 way of teaching us the harsh realities of life and investment, lol. Just don't forget, or you鈥檒l be sitting on a pile of worthless veg!

Honestly, turnips are overrated. Just fish and catch bugs, way less stressful.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
