Animal Crossing: New Horizons took approximately 7 years to develop! Seems like a lot, but hey, perfection takes time and this game is close to it. The devs started working on it right after Animal Crossing: New Leaf's last major update, which was around 2012. Release in 2020, makes those cute little villagers worth the wait.

Just 7 years. That鈥檚 7 years of crafting those adorable animals and beautiful islands. Worth the wait!

IDK about you, but waiting 7 years for ACNH was like waiting for a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. Long but rewarding.

7 years of development might seem like forever, but for a game as detailed and expansive as ACNH, it's a blink of an eye!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
