Around 5 years. It's wild to think how much time and effort went into creating the massive open world of Los Santos. From 2008 to 2013, Rockstar was busy crafting one of the biggest hits in video game history!

GTA V took approximately 5 years to develop. Development began in 2008, shortly after the release of GTA IV, and the game was finally released in 2013. It's a testament to the dedication and effort Rockstar puts into creating rich, immersive worlds.

GTA V was in development for about 5 years. Rockstar officially announced the game in 2011, but rumors say they started working on it right after GTA IV was out in 2008. So, they put a lot of time into making sure every stolen car and heist was just perfect.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
