Hogwarts Legacy was in development for about 5 years. Begun in 2018 and hit the shelves in 2023! They really put some magic into making it a fantastic experience for us players.

Just a bit over half a decade, worth every second for that spellbound adventure!
5 years might seem long, but for a game of this caliber, it's just the right amount of time to brew a perfect potion of graphics, story, and gameplay!
Honestly, could've been in development for a decade and I'd still think it's worth the wait. 5 years well spent!
