Counting 1st Edition Pokemon cards isn't as simple as it sounds because the number can vary depending on how you categorize them. But, if we're talking about the original base set, there are 102 1st Edition cards to collect. Keep in mind though, there are other sets with their own 1st Edition cards, so the total number goes up if you consider all the expansions over the years.

Honestly, who can keep count? There's a ton! But for the OG base set, it's 102. After that, each set brings more to the table.

102 1st Edition cards in the base set! That's your golden number. But oh, the joy doesn't stop there. Each new set introduces its own batch of 1st Edition glory. Happy hunting!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
