There's actually 295 cards in the Alpha set and 302 in the Beta set. Some folks mix 'em up or think they're the same but nah, Beta got a few more cards.

If you're diving into the world of vintage MTG, here's a quick rundown: The Alpha set, also known as Limited Edition Alpha, was the very first printing of Magic The Gathering and it included a total of 295 cards. Not long after, the Beta set, or Limited Edition Beta, followed up with a slightly larger pool of 302 cards. Both sets have some iconic cards that are highly sought after by collectors!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
