How many basics for battle lands in MTG?
Honestly, just throw in like 10 basics and call it a day. It's more about the cards you're playing than meeting some exact number.

For Battle Lands to come into play untapped, you'll want to aim for at least 12-14 basic lands in your deck. This ensures a good chance of having two basics out by the time you play your Battle Lands, keeping your mana smooth and your game on track!
I've been running 8 basics in my deck with Battle Lands. Haven't had much of an issue, but then again, I like living on the edge.
