Not enough to go around, that's for sure. Hunting a Black Lotus is like finding a needle in a haystack. A very expensive needle.

Honestly, I think the mystique of the Black Lotus is overblown. Sure, it's rare and iconic, but there are so many cool cards out there. Don't get too hung up on just one.

The Black Lotus, often touted as the crown jewel of MTG cards, had a super limited print run. The exact number isn't public, but it's part of the "Power Nine" from the Alpha, Beta, and Unlimited sets. Alpha had about 1,100 of each rare, Beta around 3,200, and Unlimited about 18,500. So, if you're hunting for one, you're looking at a tiny pool from a total of roughly 22,800. Good luck; you'll need it!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
