Just to keep it simple, 60 cards if you're playing standard formats. Commander decks need to be 100 cards. Stick to those numbers, and you're golden.

In the world of Magic The Gathering, the minimum number of cards for a standard deck is 60. But remember, there's no max limit, so you can go wild as long as you can shuffle your deck without assistance. For those brave souls venturing into the Commander format, you'll need exactly 100 cards, including your Commander!

60? 100? Sure, but here's the catch: more cards = more chaos. Keep your deck lean to draw your best spells more often. Trust me, size matters, but bigger isn't always better in MTG.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
