In Magic The Gathering, a deck must contain a minimum of 60 cards in most formats, but there's no maximum limit. However, for practical and strategic reasons, players usually stick close to the minimum because it increases the chances of drawing their best cards. But hey, if you want to build a deck with 200 cards, no one's stopping you!

Ran a 90-card deck once. Was wild, but wouldn鈥檛 recommend. Stick to 60 unless you鈥檙e feeling extra adventurous.

Honestly, sticking to 60 cards is your best bet. Keeps the game smooth and increases your odds of snagging your power cards.

Just remember: in Commander format, your deck needs exactly 100 cards, including your commander!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
