45 cards. You draft 15 cards from each of 3 packs. But that's just the drafting part. Your actual playing deck needs to be at least 40 cards. Drafting is a skill of its own!

When you're diving into a draft in Magic The Gathering, you're looking at picking a total of 45 cards. This comes from drafting 3 packs, and each pack has 15 cards. Just remember, only the best make it into your 40-card deck, so choose wisely!

Just draft 45 and make sure your deck hits 40. Simple.

Drafting more than what you need for a deck? Overkill much? Stick to picking the best 40 out of the 45 you draft. That's the real challenge.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
