In Magic The Gathering, a standard deck requires a minimum of 60 cards. There's no maximum limit, but you want to keep your deck efficient and manageable. Also, if you're playing in a tournament, you can have a sideboard of up to 15 cards to swap in between games.

Just 60 cards minimum for a standard MTG deck. But remember, less can be more. Keeping it close to 60 ups your chances of drawing your best cards!

Gotta say, sticking with 60 cards in your deck is just basic math for better gameplay. More cards = less chance of getting the ones you need when you need 'em.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
