Just to keep it simple: 60 cards minimum, but you can only jam 4 copies of the same card in your deck. And, yeah, go wild with those basic lands!

In a standard Magic The Gathering deck, the minimum number of cards is 60. You can have more than that, but for most of the cards, you're limited to just four copies of each, except for basic lands which you can have any number of. So, to answer the question, at least 60 cards in total, but only four of each card, except for basic lands.

60 is the magic number for your deck's minimum, but who's stopping you from going over? Just remember, 4 of the same card max, except for basic lands - those you can stack like pancakes.

Honestly, unless you're playing a specific format like Commander, stick to the 60-card minimum with four copies of each non-basic land card. Keeps things balanced and competitive.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
