The exact number of cards printed for a Magic The Gathering (MTG) set is a closely guarded secret by Wizards of the Coast, the game's publisher. However, it's known that print runs vary greatly depending on the set's popularity, its place in the production cycle, and whether it's a limited or standard edition. Each set has thousands, if not millions, of copies of each common card printed, while rarer cards have significantly fewer copies.

Honestly, it's like asking how many jellybeans are in the jar. Wizards doesn't share those numbers, but given MTG's global popularity and the fact it's been around since 1993, we're talking BIG numbers, especially for common cards.

They print enough to make sure I never pull that one mythic rare I actually want. But seriously, exact numbers aren't public, and it probably ranges in the millions for common cards.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
