Oh, diving into the depths of MTG lore, are we? The number of cards printed in Magic The Gathering sets varies widely. Early sets like Alpha had as few as 295 cards, but as the game expanded, so did the sets. Recent expansions can boast upwards of 280 cards, not including special and promotional cards. Each set brings its own flavor, so there's always something new to discover!

Too many to count on two hands, that's for sure! But seriously, it depends on the set. Some have around 250 cards, while others, especially when you count all the variant and special editions, can have over 300. Magic's constantly evolving, so there's always more being added.

Just a handful. Kidding! There's literally thousands overall, but each set varies. Look up the specific set you're curious about for exact numbers.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
