Season 1 of the Solo Leveling anime is looking pretty epic and, although they haven't officially announced the exact number of chapters it'll cover, we can speculate based on pacing and typical anime season lengths. Given the depth of the story, a good bet would be around the first 60 to 70 chapters of the webtoon. That would allow for solid character development and a satisfying arc without rushing through the material.

Honestly, it's anyone's guess. But if they want to do justice to the webtoon, they shouldn't try to cram too much into one season. Quality over quantity!

I've been following the webtoon and the anime closely, and I'm pretty confident that the first season of Solo Leveling will adapt up to chapter 65. It seems like a natural stopping point, story-wise, and it fits with how most anime adaptations pace themselves.
