I've run a four-color deck before, and while it's not for the faint of heart, it can be super rewarding. You need a really good mana base though, like fetch lands, shock lands, or any lands that can tap for multiple colors. Plus, the look on your opponent's face when you drop your fourth color is priceless.
Technically, you can have all 5 colors in a MTG deck if you really want to. Most players stick to 1-3 colors to keep their mana base consistent and avoid drawing cards they can't play. But hey, if you're feeling adventurous and can manage the mana, go for that rainbow deck!
