In Magic The Gathering, there are 5 unique colors you can mix and match for deck building - White, Blue, Black, Red, and Green. For combinations of these colors, it's not just about picking one color; you can create decks based on any combination of these. If you're looking at any combination of these colors (including mono-color decks and going up to all 5 colors together), there are 32 possible combinations. This includes the 5 single colors, 10 two-color pairs, 10 three-color combinations, 5 four-color combinations, and the one all-color combination.

Just pick five colors and throw them together, ez 32 combos. But seriously, MTG's all about that strategy, not just mixing colors like you're at a paint store.

Actually, 32 is the number if you're counting the option to go colorless too, which isn't exactly a 'color' in MTG but is a valid choice for deck building. So strictly speaking, for the 5 MTG colors, it's 31 combinations.
