Depends on the card and your deck. For essential low-cost cards, go for 4. For those high-cost legendary cards or ones with a unique effect that don't stack well, sometimes just 1 copy is perfect. Always think about how often you want to see that card in a game.

In Magic The Gathering, having 4 copies of most cards is a good rule of thumb. This maximizes the chance of drawing your key cards in any given game. However, you might only need 1 or 2 copies of more situational cards or high-cost cards, since you wouldn't want to draw them too early or too often. Deck building is an art, so adjust according to your strategy!

4 is the magic number for most decks and cards. But remember, in Limited formats like Draft or Sealed, it's whatever you pull from packs!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
