Fallout 4 can technically use up to 4 cores. But don't expect a massive boost from having more than that; the game doesn't fully utilize all the cores beyond 4. It's not so much about the quantity, but how it uses what it's got.

Only 1 or 2 cores will be heavily utilized by Fallout 4. It's kinda old school in its setup, so throwing in a high-end CPU with tons of cores won't make it magically smoother.

Fallout 4 mainly uses up to 4 cores. Anything beyond that is just for show, as the game won't effectively utilize them. Learned this the hard way by upgrading my rig just for Fallout 4. Spoiler: didn't notice a world of difference!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
