The number of creatures in a MTG deck can vary widely depending on your strategy and deck type. A general rule of thumb for a balanced deck is to aim for about 20 to 25 creatures, especially if you're running a creature-focused deck. However, control or spell-heavy decks might go as low as 10-15 creatures. The key is to ensure your deck is balanced and aligns with your play style.

0 creatures. Who needs 'em when you can just cast spells? #TeamNoCreatures

Honestly, it depends on what you're trying to do. I've seen successful decks with as few as 5 creatures and others with 30+. If you're new, I'd say start with around 20 and adjust from there based on how your games go.

From my experience, I keep around 24 creatures in my deck. It feels like the sweet spot for having enough on the board to defend or attack, without sacrificing too many spell slots. It's all about finding that balance and what fits your personal playstyle!
