In the Pokémon TCG, there are a few main types of cards you'll come across: Basic Pokémon, Evolution Pokémon (which includes Stage 1 and Stage 2), Trainer Cards (Item, Supporter, and Stadium cards), Energy Cards (Basic Energy and Special Energy), and not to forget, the shiny GX and EX cards, plus V and VMAX cards in the newer sets. So, basically, a lot to collect and play with!
