The sweet number of discard spells in a Magic The Gathering deck usually hovers between 4 to 8, depending on your overall strategy. If your game plan revolves around disrupting your opponent early on, lean closer to 8. But for a more balanced approach, stick to around 4.

Honestly, just pack your deck with as many discard spells as you can fit. It's hilarious to watch your opponent squirm with no cards in hand.

4 to 6 discard spells max. Anything more and you're just overkilling. Remember, variety is the spice of life... and MTG decks.

Discard spells? Why bother when you can just steamroll with creatures. Discard strategies are overrated.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
