How many drafts should I do before opening packs in MTG?

It's generally a good idea to hold off on cracking open those packs until you've racked up enough for a draft, especially if you're aiming to maximize your collection's value. In Magic The Gathering, doing at least 3-5 drafts before opening any packs can really pay off, as it allows you to not only enjoy the thrill of drafting but also strategically pick cards that can enhance your deck.

From my experience, waiting until you have around 8 packs gives you a solid base for drafting. It's a sweet spot that's worked well for me and my MTG crew.

Just open them! Who has the patience to wait? There's nothing like the excitement of seeing what's inside those packs right away.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
