Just 4 copies of any card (excluding basic lands), keep that in mind when building your deck. But hey, who needs more than 4 Lightning Bolts? Am I right?
Honestly, limiting to just four copies of a card is what makes the game strategic and fun. Imagine everyone running around with decks full of the same powerful card. Where's the fun in that?
In Magic The Gathering, you can have up to four of any specific card in your deck, except for basic lands, which you can have any number of. So, if you've got a favorite spell or creature, you can stack up to four of those to increase your chances of drawing them!
