How many followers can you have in Fallout 4?
In Fallout 4, you can only have one human or non-human companion at a time to accompany you throughout the Commonwealth. But, you can also have a Dogmeat, the dog, along with another companion, so technically, you can have two if one of them is Dogmeat.

Just one at a time folks. Choose wisely, or just keep Dogmeat around. Everyone loves Dogmeat.
You can only have 1 follower, but Dogmeat kinda doesn't count against your follower limit, so you can have him + another. Best of both worlds!
One companion only, and that's the rule. But Dogmeat's an exception because, well, he's Dogmeat. Can't roam the wasteland without man's best friend, can you?
