Steam itself is a pretty lightweight client, usually needing about 1GB to install on your system. But remember, that's just the app. The real space hogging starts when you begin downloading games, which can range from a few MBs to tens, or even hundreds, of GBs each.

Just to set the record straight, the Steam client needs roughly 1GB of space. But let's be real, that's just the beginning. Once you start adding games to your library, you'll measure space in terabytes, not gigabytes!

Steam's install footprint is tiny! Just about 1GB. But games? That's a whole different story. You'll need a lot more space for those.

Only around 1GB for the Steam client. But trust me, that's the least of your storage worries once you start hoarding games.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
