Just one word: luck. In Limited, it's all about what you pull from packs. You could get zero or end up with a handful if the MTG gods smile on you.

Honestly, focusing on getting as many Growth Cycles as possible might not be the best strategy. It's more about the overall deck synergy. Sure, stacking a few can be fun, but don't sacrifice your deck's balance for it!

In Limited MTG, like Draft or Sealed, the max number of Growth Cycles you can realistically have is determined by the set's print run and distribution in booster packs. However, there's no strict limit. Theoretically, you could have as many as you can draft or get in your sealed pool, but chances are you'll end up with 1-3 in a typical draft, depending on how many are floating around and your draft strategy.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
