Oh boy, if you tried counting each Hot Wheel ever made, you might be counting till the cows come home! But to give you a serious answer, it's estimated that over 6 billion Hot Wheels have been manufactured since they first hit the scene in 1968. That's a lot of tiny tires!

Just to add a hot take - It's nearly impossible to get an exact number because Mattel keeps cranking out those sweet, sweet Hot Wheels models every year. But yeah, the last estimate was over 6 billion.

From firsthand experience as a collector, I can tell you it feels like there are infinite Hot Wheels. Officially though, we're talking billions - over 6 billion at last count. Each year adds more to the count, so who knows how high that number might go!

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
