Honestly, how long you play Fallout 4 really depends. I rushed through the main story in around 45 hours, but then went back for more and ended up clocking in over 200 hours. Between the side quests, settlement building, and just wandering around, there's a ton to do. So, really, it's as long as you want it to be.
Tbh, you could finish the main story in like 30-40 hours, but where's the fun in that? Dive deep, and you'll lose months of your life, easy. Worth every second, though.
