How many identical planeswalkers can I have in MTG?
ReplyingTheft路7 months agoIn your MTG deck, you can have up to four copies of any planeswalker card, as long as each copy has the same name. This rule applies to all MTG cards except basic lands, which you can have any number of. So, max out your strategic options with up to four identical super-powerful planeswalkers!

Just 1 on the battlefield at a time with the same planeswalker type! MTG's 'legendary' rule kicks in here, meaning if you have two Jaces, for example, you gotta pick one to keep and one goes to the graveyard. Deck-wise, you can have up to 4 copies, but remember, only one can chill on the battlefield.
Only 4! Magic the Gathering is very clear on this - no more than four copies of the same planeswalker card in a deck. But who needs more than 4 when you've got strategy on your side, right?
