How Many Kills Do You Need for Genocide in Undertale?

To achieve the Genocide route, you need to kill 20 monsters in the Ruins, 16 in Snowdin, 18 in Waterfall, and 40 in Hotland/CORE. Happy hunting! ;)

Just keep killing until the game tells you 'But Nobody Came.' It’s grim, but you’ll know you’re on the right path.

If you aren’t seeing 'But Nobody Came' by the end of each area, then you haven’t killed enough. Keep at it!
