Honestly, it really depends on your deck type. If you're running a low-curve aggro, you might skate by with 20. But if you're all about those big spells, you might need to bump it up to 26 or even more. Play some games and adjust if you're finding yourself mana-starved or flooded too often.

For a standard 60-card MTG deck, aiming for about 24 lands is a solid rule of thumb. This gives you a good balance to draw into your lands consistently while still having plenty of spells to play. Of course, this can shift based on your deck's average mana cost. Aggro decks might go lower, like 20-22, while control decks might be comfy with 25-27.
