I'd say there are six: Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, All Might, Uraraka, and Iida. They're the core group that gets the most development.

Deku's the core main character, but you can't overlook the importance of Bakugo and Todoroki either. But really, Deku is the focus.
There's a huge cast, but if we're talking true main characters, it's primarily focused on Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Bakugo. Plus, you can't forget All Might and Uraraka!
Honestly, in My Hero Academia, it's mostly about the class and the teachers. But Deku stands out as the central protagonist.
