IMO, it's too early to say for sure. Rockstar Games plays their cards close to the chest. We didn't know GTA V had 3 main characters until closer to release. Expect surprises!
As of the last update, Rockstar hasn't spilled the beans on the exact number of main characters in GTA 6. If we go by GTA V's precedent with its revolutionary three main characters, GTA 6 might keep us on our toes with something equally surprising or even more groundbreaking!
