Only two people are needed for trials. Solo's not an option but duo works!
Technically, you only need two people to start the trials, but having more can definitely make it easier. Assemble your crew, pirate style!
Personal experience here: trials are WAY smoother with at least two people. I've done it with a small crew, and it's a blast!
