Just 8. But remember, sharing an island means sharing resources. Sometimes it feels a bit crowded, especially when everyone wants to fish at the same spot!

8 players max! But honestly, it gets kinda chaotic. Imagine sharing one island with 7 other people deciding where to plant trees. Good luck with that!

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, up to 8 players can live on your island. Each player needs their own profile on the Nintendo Switch. You can all play together, but only one at a time in single-player mode. It's super fun to decorate the island and see what kinds of unique homes your friends or family create!

8 players, which is awesome for families or a group of friends. But if you're a control freak about your island layout, brace yourself.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
