Terraria supports up to 8 players in a multiplayer game on most platforms, but if you're on PC, you can push that number to 255 with a bit of server tweaking. So, whether you wanna keep it cozy or go big, Terraria's got you covered.

8 players normally, but PC can go up to 255. Because why play with a few friends when you can play with a small village?

Just me, myself, and I... until I realize Terraria lets up to 8 people join the party on consoles and mobile, but if you're a PC master racer, you can dial that up to 255. Networking party, anyone?

As a person who tried hosting a 255 player game... let's just say there's a reason why most people stick to 8.

Don't listen to them; it's 8 on consoles and mobile, but PC gamers can invite up to 255 players. Who even knows 255 people?

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
