In Valorant, you can queue with friends who are within 3 ranks (tiers) of your own rank. So, if you're Gold 1, you can play with anyone from Silver 1 up to Platinum 1.

Honestly, the 3-rank rule is kinda strict. Missed out playing with my buddy who's just 4 ranks up. Wish Riot would loosen up a bit.
