Actually, it's three. Three saves should be enough for anyone. Who needs more than three chances to be the best witch or wizard?
I've personally tested this, and yup, you can have up to four saves. I've got one for each house because why not live a little and see all those perspectives! Gryffindor for bravery, Slytherin for ambition, Hufflepuff for loyalty, and Ravenclaw for wisdom. It's like having four different games in one.
