The number of Sky Islands in Terraria isn't fixed! It really depends on the size of the world you're playing in. Small worlds might have between 2 to 4 Sky Islands, medium worlds can have 3 to 6, and large worlds could have 4 to 8. So, always bring extra blocks for bridging those gaps in the sky. Happy hunting!
